About Christian Nodal

Christian Nodal is a Mexican singer who was born and raised in Sonora, Mexico. He reportedly got his start in music at the age of four when he was singing and learning to play piano and guitar on his own. Which was likely seen by family and friends as an early indicator that his career would be made through music.

As it turns out, they were proven correct in January 2017 when Nodal released Adiós Amor”. This single became a fast success in Mexico and the United States reaching #1 on the Top 20 General Mexican Songs Chart and #2 on the Billboard Top Latin Songs chart in the United States. Then later that year, in June, Nodal collaborated with DAvid Bisbal to release “Probablemente”.

Bisbal was impressed with the collaboration and even told Billboard that “…he [Nodal] a great interpreter but also a songwriter.” Reportedly, Bisbal was proud to be a part of the early stages of Nodal’s career.

And in August, Nodal released his debut album which topped Mexican and US music charts. The album was praised for its elegance and the album was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award among other accolades.

Since then, Nodal has been involved with other performers, including Pepe Aguilar and his family while on their “Jaripeo Sin Fronteras” tour. He also released a second album that debuted in the top ten of the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart, especially with thanks to the promotional tour he went on.

To date, Nodal has found recognition and accolades as a singer-songwriter and a Mexican performer. In fact, Nodal has won three Latin Grammy Awards, a Lo Nuestro Award, two Billboard Latin Music Awards, and a Latin American Music Award.
